Is it faster to buy online?

www.apple.ca generally ships products in 2-3 business days after your order is submitted – the “Ships in” info for the product does not include how long it will take for the order to arrive at your door.  Shipping methods and times vary, but it’s not unusual to wait a week or more for a direct order from Apple that says “Ships in 24 hours”. We stock common models right here in Nelson, and if we don’t have it here, it’s usually only a couple of business days to get it here from our Calgary and Vancouver warehouses.

Is your pricing the same as Apple’s?

Apple branded products are priced the same. Peripherals and other accessories may differ in price. We at Digerati are determined to offer competitive pricing. Just remember – great deals you find online are usually being shipped from the US. Shipping fees can apply and wait times may vary. Please note: we are not clairvoyant, and Apple does not tell us about new products/updates before they tell everyone else. As such, we cannot tell you when a new model is coming out, so please understand that pricing and specifications are subject to change without notice.

Educational: Educational discounts are not available from us. If you are eligible for educational discounts from Apple, you may still want to ask us for a quote. Certain products and accessories do not fall under Apple’s educational discount.

How long does it take to order product in?

Most standard orders are 1-3 business days, assuming we don’t have the model you are looking for in stock right here in Nelson,

note: custom ordered machines (CTO’s) are subject to longer wait times, but that is a standard even on Apple’s website.

How long have we been here?

Digerati Computing was started in Nelson in late 2005, with the express purpose of bringing Apple products and service back to Nelson. We moved into our present location in the Nelson Brewing Company building in late 2007 in response to increasing demand for our specialized services.
