Apple products continue to be leaders in innovation and quality since their release of the original Personal Computer back in 1976. Selling and servicing Apple computers is an exclusive business, requiring special authorization and ongoing training directly from Apple.
Q: What is an Apple Authorized Reseller?
A: Reseller = dealer, or retailer. Before the Apple Store, there was the independent Apple dealer. In fact, the independent dealers were the way to purchase an Apple or Macintosh computer since the beginning. Nowadays, you usually only find Resellers and Apple Stores in larger metropolitan areas with population bases of 150,000+ (reseller) or 500,000+ (Apple Store). We are happy to be able to bring Apple computers to the Nelson area!
Q: What is an Apple Authorized Service Provider?
A: Apple has a certification program in place for technicians, with specific training for Apple Computers. Not only do our technicians need to pass the certification course and exams, they are required to renew certification every year. Anyone can seek certification, but only those working for a Service Provider are able to do warranty repairs and order parts from Apple. We are also required to keep a high level of workmanship, with regular feedback from Apple on how we are doing. We are provided the information from Apple to properly diagnose and repair your Apple computer, and have exclusive access to genuine Apple parts.
